Hi, I would recommend going to the beach at Monterosso al Mare on your own (ferry takes 2 hours and train 30 minutes). The village is the largest of all five villages and has a long, sandy, family-friendly beach with all facilities. The Old Town is also cute with shops, restaurants and cafes. If you want to add another village, Vernazza is also popular for families but doesn’t have a long beach.
